Chambers Plumbing & Heating was founded by Ursee Chambers . He started the company in 1921 out of his garage and used a motor cycle and a side car to deliver plumbing supplies. His son Darryl Chambers joined the company and eventually took over the business. Jack and Prentice Griffith worked for Darryl for many years. They bought the business when Darryl retired. They owned and ran the business until 1989 when David and Judy Lohnes purchased it. The Griffiths continued to work at Chambers for about another 10 years after they sold. David and Judy still own the business to this day. Chambers will have been in business for 100 years in 2021.
Before David became a plumbing contractor in Loveland CO., he and his father and brother owned Lohnes Masonry. After 25 years of back breaking work, the opportunity to change professions came with Chambers Plumbing. David earned his Master Plumbing License in the first 5 years and has provided plumbing and heating services for the local area for the last 30 years.
